Advantages of our 300 Hour Kundalini, Tantra & Meditation Yoga

Master Chakras, Master Consciousness

This advanced 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training takes you well beyond the 200 Hour foundation into the deeper stages of Kundalini Sadhana. You refine your kriya yoga sequences, master tantric pranayama (Bhramari, Bhastrika, Nadi-Shodhanam), and study advanced bandhas, mudras and Mantra-Shaktipata — the traditional practice of transmitting spiritual energy from teacher to student in our lineage.

The curriculum unfolds Kundalini Tantra philosophy from the Yoga Kundalini Upanishad, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Kashmir Shaivism alongside advanced Kundalini anatomy — nadis, panchakosha, granthis and the seven chakras as living energy centres. You graduate equipped to safely guide students through chakra meditation, kriya practice and Tantric Sadhana.

“The 200 Hour opens the door to Kundalini. The 300 Hour teaches you to walk through it — with steadiness, surrender and the wisdom to guide others. This is where the seeker becomes the lamp.” — Yogi Vishnu, Founder, Samadhi Yoga Ashram

Join us on the banks of Ganga for our advanced 300 Hour Kundalini, Tantra & Meditation Yoga TTC — the continuing education that elevates RYT 200 graduates into fully-credentialed RYT 500 Kundalini teachers, ready to lead workshops, retreats and trainings of their own.

Course Hour Breakdown

Understanding The Structure Of The 300 Hour Kundalini, Tantra & Meditation Course

The 300 hour curriculum advances the pillars of Kundalini, Tantra and meditation into deeper, more subtle territory — refined kriya, pranayama, mantra, energy philosophy and sustained meditative practice. It builds on the 200 hour foundation and carries it toward mastery. At this level we work through the advanced bandha-coordinated pranayama and the deeper kriya sequences documented in Swami Satyananda's Asana Pranayama Mudra Bandha — the technical reference behind the practice.

Each practice is repeated daily through the residential immersion, so it becomes a steady sadhana rather than something touched once and left. This daily repetition — the traditional gurukul method — is what turns 300 advanced hours into genuine transformation, not just information.

We Follow

The 5000 Years Old Yoga Tradition of The Himalayan Masters

Samadhi Yoga Ashram follows the teachings of generations of Himalayan masters and saints who lived in the cave hermitages of the Himalayas. The teaching lineage stretches back nearly 5,000 years and includes Adi Shankaracharya, Swami Rama of the Himalayas, and his student Swami Veda Bharati. This tradition was practiced for centuries without a single name — we refer to it simply as the Tradition of the Himalayan Masters.

Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi, the founder of Samadhi Yoga Ashram, is a student of Swami Veda Bharati — who was, in turn, a student of Swami Rama. Through this unbroken teacher-student chain, the practical methods of pranayama, meditation, kriya and yoga philosophy have been transmitted from one generation to the next without being diluted by trend.

Although yoga has roots in Hindu culture, it is not a religion. The Himalayan path is open to anyone — regardless of religion, language or nationality. What it asks of you is sincerity, regularity, and willingness to learn from a teacher. The classical teacher-student relationship is still the foundation of how we work.

The ashram teaches the full eight-limbed path of yoga — including Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Tantra Yoga. A central instruction of the Himalayan tradition is "to be free of fear, become aware of the reality within." The work is practical, daily, and grounded — not abstract, not religious, not performative.

FAQs - 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga TTC

Frequently Asked Questions - 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training In Rishikesh

The 200 Hour introduces you to the foundations of Kundalini sadhana — chakras, basic kriya yoga, tantric pranayama and meditation. The 300 Hour goes much deeper: advanced kriya sequences, Mantra-Shaktipata, granthi (energy lock) release, advanced anatomy, Reiki healing, scriptural study and most importantly — teaching methodology so that you graduate able to safely guide others through Kundalini practice.

Yes — a Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (or equivalent 200 Hour TTC from a registered school) is required to enroll. This is an advanced course and presumes you already have foundational knowledge of asana, pranayama, philosophy and teaching methodology. If you have completed any 200 Hour TTC and have a sincere meditation practice, you are welcome.

No. We teach traditional Kundalini Yoga from the classical Himalayan lineage and are not affiliated with the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) founded by Yogi Bhajan. Our teachings draw from Swami Rama, Kashmir Shaivism and the wider Indian Tantra-Yoga tradition. Yogi Vishnu has compiled and taught these practices for over 15 years.

Mantra-Shaktipata is the science of energy transmission — the descent of Shakti from teacher to disciple through mantra, breath, touch or look. In the 300 Hour course we explain the philosophy, the lineage protocols and the science behind it, and integrate prepared practices respectfully — only after the body and mind are ready. We do not commercialise Shaktipata; it is offered as the lineage allows.

Many texts describe the signs — a gentle flow of energy along the spine, then deeper waves of bliss and joy, moments of awareness beyond the ordinary mind, and finally a deep stillness and silence. Shaking of the body is usually just the body’s natural energy moving, not awakening itself. The reliable signs are inner stillness, a wave of devotion, mental clarity and a calm, joyful heart — not dramatic physical movements.

When taught traditionally and gradually, Kundalini sadhana is safe and deeply healing. The risk arises when students try to force the awakening without proper preparation — this can lead to mental imbalance. In the Himalayan tradition we teach systematically, step by step, through cleansing kriyas, balanced pranayama, bandhas and chakra meditation, so the energy rises naturally and safely.

Yes. On successful completion of the 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga TTC, you receive a Yoga Alliance USA RYT 300 certificate — combined with your existing RYT 200, this makes you a fully credentialed RYT 500 yoga teacher, internationally recognised. You also receive our ashram's lineage-based completion certificate honouring your Kundalini sadhana.

Regular advanced practice deepens flexibility, nerve strength and immunity, while bringing profound mental and emotional balance, inner joy and clarity. On the spiritual layer it dissolves blockages, opens chakras, calms the nervous system and supports states of meditative absorption, devotional surge and self-knowledge as Sushumna gradually opens.
