Advantages of our Prenatal Yoga TTC

Nurture, Connect & Welcome a New Life

Our Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in Bali is thoughtfully designed for expectant mothers and aspiring prenatal teachers. You learn safe asana variations for each trimester, gentle pranayama, prenatal Yoga Nidra and meditation that ease common pregnancy discomforts (back pain, swelling, anxiety) while supporting healthy circulation, mobility and emotional wellbeing.

The course also covers the spiritual and devotional traditions of conscious motherhood — mantras for the unborn baby, Ayurvedic prenatal nutrition, the 16 Samskaras, teaching methodology and rituals that prepare both mother and child for a smooth, conscious birth. You leave grounded, centred, and equipped to teach prenatal yoga safely and intelligently.

“Pregnancy is not just a physical journey — it is the most sacred spiritual practice a woman can undertake. Every breath, every thought, every meal shapes a new soul. Yoga reminds us to honour this with awareness and grace.” — Yogi Vishnu, Founder, Samadhi Yoga Ashram

Join our Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in Bali for 5 sacred days of self-care, devotion, gentle transformation & teacher preparation — on the lush Island of the Gods, certified by Samadhi Yoga Ashram.

Course Hour Breakdown

Understanding The Structure Of Our Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training In Bali

The Prenatal curriculum is organised around its essential pillars — safe trimester-wise asana, breath and relaxation for pregnancy, the anatomy of the changing body, and the methodology of teaching expecting mothers. Together they form a complete grounding in practising and teaching prenatal yoga.

Each element is revisited daily through the immersion in Bali, so theory and practice come together every day rather than being studied apart. This repetition — the traditional gurukul method — is what turns a focused training into genuine confidence to teach this specialised, sensitive style.

I joined the training in my second trimester and it was exactly the calm, nurturing experience I was searching for. The teachers were so attentive, the prenatal yoga felt safe and gentle, and the Yoga Nidra sessions helped me sleep better than I had in months. I came home feeling deeply connected to my baby.

FAQs - Prenatal Yoga TTC

Frequently Asked Questions - Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training In Bali

Yes — the course is specifically designed for expectant mothers and aspiring prenatal teachers and is taught by experienced prenatal yoga teachers. We recommend joining during the second or third trimester after a doctor’s clearance. All asana, pranayama and meditation practices are gentle, restorative and adapted to each stage of pregnancy, with proper props and individual modifications.

The second trimester (14–27 weeks) is generally the most comfortable and recommended time to travel and practice prenatal yoga. The third trimester is also welcome up to about 32 weeks, with adapted gentler practices. We do not recommend joining in the first trimester (under 14 weeks) due to greater sensitivity. Please share your due date with us before booking.

No formal yoga background is required. The course is open to expectant mothers of all levels — whether you are completely new to yoga or already have a regular practice. Every session is taught at a gentle pace with proper guidance and props, so you can practice safely while listening to your body and baby.

The course covers safe prenatal asana, gentle pranayama, prenatal Yoga Nidra, mantras for the unborn baby, meditation for emotional balance, breathing techniques for labour preparation, sattvic Ayurvedic nutrition, and lifestyle guidance for a healthy pregnancy. The focus is on nurturing both mother and baby holistically — physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Yes, we ask all expectant mothers to obtain written clearance from their gynaecologist or obstetrician before joining. Please share any complications, medications or special considerations with us in advance so we can plan a safe and supportive experience for you and your baby.

Yes — partners are warmly welcome to accompany you. They can stay in the same accommodation and join the meditation, pranayama and devotional sessions. We believe that a supportive partner adds tremendous value to the prenatal journey, and we encourage couples to share this sacred experience together.

On successful completion of the Prenatal Yoga TTC, you receive a Samadhi Yoga Ashram completion certificate honouring your training. This prenatal specialty course is an in-house programme (not Yoga Alliance certified) and complements your existing yoga credentials, preparing you to teach prenatal yoga safely and intelligently to expectant mothers.

Three sattvic, pregnancy-safe vegetarian meals daily, prepared with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients chosen to nourish both mother and baby. We avoid garlic, onion, excessive spices and any pregnancy-contraindicated foods. Vegan and special dietary needs can be accommodated — please inform us in advance. Accommodation is on-campus, with private and shared room options. The whole environment is quiet, devotional and deeply nurturing.
